Appeal for information on missing man in Tseung Kwan O (with photo)
Police today (January 30) appealed to the public for information on a man who went missing in Tseung Kwan O. Lo Tai, aged 80, left his home at Ying Ming Court, Tseung Kwan O yesterday (January 29) evening and failed to return. His family made a report to Police today. He is about 1.6 meters tall and weighs about 50 kilograms. He is of thin build with a pointed face, yellow complexion and short straight white hair. He was last seen wearing a dark green jacket, dark brown trousers and black shoes. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the missing man or who may have seen him is urged to contact the Regional Missing Persons Unit, Kowloon East on 2703 2430 or 9886 0060, or rmpu-ke-1@police.gov.hk or contact any police station. The first velodrome in Hong Kong
It will be Hong Kong's first indoor cycling track that meets international standards for training and competition. In 2012, the Chief Secretary Mrs Lam officiated at the ceremony marking the start of construction. The Tseung Kwan O velodrome occupies 6.6 hectares, and cycling helmets inspired its wavy rooftop design. It will be open by the end of 2013. Hong Kong's London Olympics medal-winning cyclist Sarah Lee said it will be a good training and competition venue for local cyclists, adding she has had to travel six hours to the Mainland for training in recent years. Hong Kong Cycling Team head coach Shen Jin-kang said the track will help his squad, and encourage more youngsters take up the sport.
